It’s been a while since I last posted any photos. This summers been pretty hectic but I have been still shooting alot. I’ve just been neglecting my lonely photo blog for a bit. I am posting some of the photos I’ve taken. First one is a friend of mine, Samantha. We decided to go a bit darker, especially since it’s almost halloween and create ’scary’ photos. Her light skin and bright blue eyes helped make the photos dark and yet mesmerizing. I almost wanted a broom, whitch had and a black cat. Hmm, a thought. Next one is a band that is releasing their album soon. More info on that when I receive them. They will be putting my photos in their album case. Awesome! Last but not least is my friend Melissa. We went to downtown Gaslamp and were able to get some ‘fashion’ style photos. She’s photogenic so a monkey couldn’t have messed it up I’m sure. Enjoy and there is more to come.

Photographing Nicole and Casey was such a blast. They came down here from Chicago and Seattle and I was honored that they found and picked me to be their wedding photographer. They were open to any photo ideas that I threw at them and trusted me to create some cool artsy photos for them and I thank them for that. That’s always a pleasure:) Everybody at the wedding were all visiting San Diego. They were all so cool to us and always made us feel welcome that I was so tempted to stay after my hours was up and party with them but I had things to take care of so I had to leave. Thanks to Fidel of Fidelity Photography for helping me shoot this wedding. I highly recommend watching the slideshow below if you’re curious on how the rest of the photos came out but make sure this blog is finished loading so that it doesn’t slow the speed down. Here is a link to watch the slideshow in it’s own web page so the speed of the internet is faster. Click here Nicole and Casey Photo Montage.

I had a great time photographing Johanna and Carlos’s wedding. The wedding was in Old Town and the setting was really ‘pretty’. I brought my friend, Fidel, an awesome photographer to help me out for this wedding. I have uploaded a handful of cool photos but I recommend looking at their slideshow by clicking here www.prodigy-studios.com/johanna just for amazing spanish music by Camilo. I fell in love with the music at their reception and had to use it for their slideshow. You can check out their wedding album at www.prodigy-studios.com/johanna/album.

I had a ‘rocking’ time photographing these 3 bands. Death to Juliet, The Plastic Revolution and Plane Without a Pilot. All 3 of these bands are a part of Rdub Recordings which I shoot for. Just click on their names to go to their myspace page to listen to their awesome rock! Thanks to Roland, Rdub Producer and main man, for making me feel so welcome as part of the Rdub family. Roland is also going to produce my ‘island’ songs that I created and possibly make me rich and famous. Okay maybe not rich, okay maybe not even famous but 1 of my dreams are going to be fulfilled which is to have 1 of my songs to come out on a radio, even if it’s radio shack. Ok, that was cheese, my bad:) Leave some comment love if you like them.

During the times I’m not shooting weddings, I spend my small amount of free times that I have (after playing with my little boy) photographing models, families and bands. Here are some of the photos that I think came out really nicely. The great thing about shooting models is that I can spend time redefinig my style so that I can carry this over to brides and groom photos. I was priviledged to have gotten a chance to photograph some of this models since they are serious with their acting/modeling gig. 1 below is a soap opera star in Columbia (which her family has told me they will look for some weddings for me in Columbia that I can shoot, ooh I can’t wait for that), another has had appearances on couple films such as Law and Order, other is working to come up in the import modeling field and so on. Enjoy.

So awesome! I got the big opportunity go to New York to shoot a wedding! This is my first Indian Wedding and it was so overwhelming. Every little thing was a ceremony and the energy of it was so high. I loved it! Big thanks to Stacy of Ethan Alfred Studios for bringing me out to New York for this wedding. This trip to New York was so amazing. I was overwhelmed by the subway, tall buildings and the massive amount of people that resides there. Another big thanks to my new friends, Elena and John of Hybrid Media Production for being there for me when I was in need of some help. I want to go back:) I didn’t get to take my little Tumtum but next time, he’s my little traveling buddy. I hope you guys enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Woohoo! I got to go to Guam, my home, to shoot Joory and Gary’s wedding. They are from Guam also but live in San Diego. Like me, they haven’t been back home for over 7 years! I know Joory and Gary had an awesome time having their wedding in Guam. The beach and the sunset is like non other I have ever seen. It was beautiful but man, was it super hot and humid. We were all sweating like madness but it was well worth it. Joory and Gary are super cool and since they were from Guam also, we connected really well. I can say that they are my good friends now:) You can see their engagement photos at www.prodigy-studios.com/blog/?p=526. If you like these photos below, you can see their slideshow by clicking www.prodigy-studios.com/joory. The song by Rebel Souljahz, Nothing to Hide, was playing every other hour in Guam radio when I was there so I used it for Joory and Gary’s slideshow. Great song!

I got a chance to go to go back to my home Guam for a week and saw my little son Tumtum. He’s been there for the past 5 months and I was missing him pretty badly. I am moving to Guam in August to be with my little monster. I don’t ever want to leave him no longer than 8 hours since 8 hours is usually the hours that I need to work. I would take him to work if I could:) The visit was real cool. I got to be with my son and saw all many of my old friends from back in the days. I had to come back to California to finish shooting the rest of my weddings than heading back. These photos were taken by Desiree Sablan, Tumtum’s mama and came out so great! Thanks Des.

I had agreat time shooting Julie and David’s wedding. I actually loved how they took their formal photos prior to the wedding. You can see their wedding formal photos by clicking here Julie & David Formal. The weather was overcast, which is great for photos so that harsh shadows aren’t on people’s face and aren’t squinting their eyes so much. It was real cool to see David get introduced to Korean culture with our Galbi bar b q and kimchee:) Here are some of their photos and the slideshow can be seen by clicking www.prodigy-studios.com/julie.
